ABOUT THE HORSE

Hello handsome! “Profit” is a BIG boy standing 15.2 hh, weighing in full around 1300 lbs. This gelding is a head-turner with his striking buckskin color and big black legs. This big gentleman is as kind and gentle as they get. Profit is a TRUE ranch horse that has done it all, as well as an incredible head horse. This is a prime-aged gelding that EVERY one is looking for!  

Profit has been there, done that when it comes to ranch work. He is always our go-to guy for any task that is needed. Gathering ‘em out of the pasture? No problem- Profit has all the run you need with a good brake pedal. He will be sure-footed and confident in the rough country. He has drug many angry mommas out to pasture and is sure strong at the horn. He knows how to use that big body of his to his advantage. He is a crucial part in breaking our colts to lead. Profit has the mind to help him stay calm in high-pressure situations. This would make him an incredible candidate for being a race-track pony horse.  

Profit has really proven himself to us in the arena with his incredible ability in the team roping. He is rock-solid in the box, has all the run when needed, and stays in your hand. From fast to medium-slow steers, he will position his rider perfectly. Profit suits a #3 roper on up. Profit has the experience in the arena, on the ranch, and the trails. This unique gelding has even been trail ridden all over the Black Hills. He will walk into large bodies of water without hesitation and power up and down those steep hills.  

This gelding has been put through many tests in his life and has earned an “A” in our books. Profit is 100% sound and sane with a PPE and radiographs available. Please do not hesitate to give us a call in regards to your future partner.
