Diego is the same horse every single time you step a leg over him, no matter how long he hasn’t been ridden and no matter the environment. Diego is the son of a $269,000 earner himself, Dun It For Whizkey, whose progeny earnings are in excess of $1,000,000. Diego is out of Smart Rowdy Lady, who won $15,900 herself and has progeny earnings of $136,629. It’s safe to say Diego was born for greatness.  

This exquisite gelding carries himself with grace in and out of the arena. Diego has a beautiful, slow, smooth jog and can really stride out for a beautiful extended trot. He will lope off with ease, always on the correct lead. Diego’s cadence in his gaits makes him the perfect mount for all levels. He spins correct and stylish, has a great stop, and changes leads with ease. We will continue to show Diego in the ranch classes all summer. Diego side passes to gates, fences, and over logs. With Diego’s willingness and trainability, he makes all tasks a joy. 

Diego is the best boy to get on, to simply just go ride. From gathering cattle, riding through the pasture, down the road, or on a nice trail ride, Diego is perfect. Diego will cross a small creek,enter a large body of water, and even go for a swim. We have ridden him in English tack and have had riders of all levels on him. No matter his surroundings, Diego will be steady and broke. Diego isn’t just arena broke, but “real life” broke to where we can take him out to complete all the ranch chores with ease.
