ABOUT THE HORSE

Helllloooo beautiful! If you are looking for a horse that turns heads EVERY where she goes then look no further. “Cheyenne” has that old school SHAPE- like the shoulders on a body builder and a hind end like a Kardashian. All that shape is wrapped up in TRUE BLUE ROAN color. This gal is as blue roan as they get! Cheyenne stands all of 15.1 hh and has four solid black feet. 

This mare is as solid as they come in every aspect. She is a broke, broke gal with her one hand neck rein and nice turn-around. For as big of a girl as she is, her trot and lope are very smooth and easy. Cheyenne was previously shown in the trail and ranch classes and did very well with a green rider. She will side-pass to anything and wait patiently for your next cue. No obstacle is too much for her, as she will go over and cross anything you put in her way. From small streams, creeks, logs, bridges, and walking into a large body of water she will have zero hesitation. 

With her kind, will-do anything demeanor one can take her any route. Cheyenne would truly excel being your trail riding partner for life. Whether you trail ride in your backyard or in the Black Hills. She is big and strong and can hold her own going up and down large hills and over rocky terrain. Cheyenne has no preference of riding alone or in a group as she is a point and shoot kind of gal. One does not need an owner’s manual to get along with her. 

This is a very safe, laid back mare that we believe anyone can ride- from green riders, youth, and experienced. When it comes to tarps, flags, dogs, tractors, skid-loaders, and any other chaos one does not have to worry about Cheyenne being frightened. She is dang near “spook-proof.” There isn’t much that can rattle her cage.
