A picture-perfect gelding in America’s favorite color: BUCKSKIN! From his gorgeous keen head, buttermilk buckskin color, and great conformation Cactus will be sure to turn heads everywhere he goes! This is a barn favorite with his kind personality and easy-going demeanor. Cactus can be taken in ANY direction. He rides level-headed at the walk, trot, and has a good stop. We personally love watching this horse lope, as one can have a big, long draped rein and he will stay in the bridle without ever speeding up. Cactus has a great turn around where he always plants his pivot foot and with his one hand neck rein, he is easy to pilot. Cactus would be the perfect fit for the ranch riding/versatility classes, mounted shooting, or trail riding. He is great with any obstacle that comes in front of him- from tarps, bridges, balls, and anything in-between. Cactus enjoys showing off his tricks of knowing how to pick up a rope from the ground while on him and laying down. This one-of-a-kind gelding stands a stout 14.3hh, is easy to catch, and stands to be saddled/bathed/mounted. Cactus is up-to-date on vaccinations/de-worming AND has current radiographs. This is the kind of horse that people dream of.
